Perform application development focusing on multi-tier web applications using Microsoft development tools.

Perform database design and development that supports end user applications or nightly batch process.

  • Conduit business analysis of existing processes to determine how best to design and develop systems that create the greatest business benefit with the least amount of cost.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with other members in the team on a rotational basis.
  • On-call procedures require monitoring and resolving all issues during nightly batch process.
  • Must strive to maintain service level goals of 95% batch attainment.
  • Provide level 2 production support roles for all internal and external application systems.
  • Work with business users and development team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Provide document imaging system support for scanning operations.
  • Create management and operational reports using Crystal Reports. Create system documentation and flow charts as projects are designed and implemented.

Preferred Skills

5 years of application development focusing on multi-tier web applications.

5 years of database development and administration.

5 years of business analysis experience.

2 years of application development. Candidate should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in the following areas:

  • HTML 4.x Cascading Style Sheets, Javascript Web Services, VB.NET XML & XSLT, ASP.NET ASP 3.0
  • 2 years of experience with MS SQL Server demonstrating a working knowledge in the following areas:
  • DB Design: Transaction processing versus data warehousing,
  • Data warehousing principles: Denormalization, bulk processing
  • Administration: Security, backup and recovery methods, performance tuning
  • T-SQL: Creating and managing tables, stored procedures, indexes, views, functions, triggers
  • 2 years of business analysis experience in a multi-department and multi-system environment.

Must be able to demonstrate proficient skills in the follow areas:

  • Requirements Gathering, Regression Testing, Business Process Analysis, Disaster Recovery Certification, System Development Specifications, Production Support, Project Lifecycle, System Training and Deployment.
